The 500-year-old craft of Żubrówka Bison Grass originates from Podlasie, the heart of which is the Białowieża Forest in eastern Poland. Beneath this vast green canopy lies an extraordinary wonderland.
These primeval forests are the only place where the European bison lives in the wild. They are Poland’s national animal and a proud icon of Żubrówka. Their favorite food is the rare, aromatic bison grass that grows in hidden, sunny glades.
